A stunning purpose-built, self-catering, spacious, three-bedroomed penthouse apartment furnished and equipped to a high standard, with Broadband (WiFi) Internet connection. All rooms have picture windows giving wonderful views. The apartment, which has recently been refurbished and redecorated, is located in a desirable area and within a ten minute walk of the centre of historic Salisbury. It has free parking in a rear car park or garage. A bus route is close by and the station is a five minute drive. There are two attractive, south-west facing balconies, one large with garden furniture for al fresco dining. Both balconies provide stunning views and overlook a landscaped communal garden where there are lawns with bench seats in summer.
Overview
This is a self-catering, no smoking/no pet apartment with no lift. The apartment sleeps five plus large chair-bed and travel cot. The communal lawns are not children's play areas but a playground with apparatus is within a seven minute walk. The double-glazed stair-well to the penthouse is three and a half flights and is therefore unsuitable for people with limited mobility or wheel-chair users.
There are two corner shops near-by and a 24 hour Tesco store within five minutes drive. Waitrose (with Post Office open matching the shop's hours), Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer are also within a mile. Most supermarkets will deliver groceries if required. (Leaflets in apartment). There is a 24 hour Simply M & S garage/supermarket within five minutes drive. There are many restaurants, public houses and smaller individual shops in the City. There is a famous food market in Salisbury Square on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with the occasional Farmer's and French markets. There is a cinema, two theatres, an arts centre/theatre and several museums, all within walking distance, as is the ancient Salisbury Cathedral in The Close. There is also the public Three Rivers swimming and sports centre within five minutes drive. There are facilities in the area for golf, fishing and other country pursuits. Maps and leaflets of most tourist/arts/historic/cycling facilities are present in the apartment. Salisbury Tourist Information Centre is a ten minute walk.
